Oday Dabbagh is a history-making Palestinian footballer, a prolific striker, and a key figure in Palestine’s rise on the international football stage.
Born on December 3, 1998, in Jerusalem, Dabbagh began his professional career at just 16 with Hilal Al-Quds. By 19, he was the West Bank Premier League’s top scorer, leading his team to multiple league titles and earning his first call-up to the Palestinian national team. His dominance in Palestine opened doors abroad, first in Kuwait, where he won the league title with Al-Arabi and finished as the league’s top scorer in 2021.
In 2021, he made history as the first homegrown Palestinian to play in Portugal’s Primeira Liga, signing with F.C. Arouca. Over two seasons, he proved himself against top European competition, earning a move to the Belgian Pro League with Charleroi. In 2025, he joined Aberdeen FC in Scotland’s top division, continuing his rise in European football.
